Have had my 3 kids at NIST since they were in Y1 and can say that it is a wonderful school where they have developed as responsible, caring and smart individuals! With many families coming from the UN and the school curriculum supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, it gives the school and its students a great sense of purpose. Also it has a lovely close knit and supportive community so parents can quickly adjust and make friends. I have no hesitation to recommend NIST to any family!

Our daughter has been going to NIST since 2020, and she has absolutely thrived there. The teachers are excellent, the community welcoming and inclusive, and the students supportive and engaged. The campus is in the heart of Bangkok but removed from the main drag of Sukhumvit, so the kids are able to safely and comfortably focus on their schoolwork and activities. There is a bit of construction going on at the moment, but that is temporary and when it’s done the campus will be significantly improved (moreover, in contrast to some other schools in Bangkok going through renovations, NIST has kept to their announced schedule). If you are looking for an IB school in Bangkok, NIST should be at the top of your list.

My brothers and I graduated from NIST and now my children are NIST students. I know and believe that they would receive NIST well-established academic excellence and experience cultural diversities. NIST will shape them to become global citizens with kind-hearts and responsible mindsets to the societies.

Ineffably terrible attitude, sportsmanship is practically nonexistent. My school has had hundreds of competitions and tournaments with NIST. Nearly all of the students here hate NIST and we rarely ever **HATE** schools. Plus, teachers at NIST literally run their mouths about students from other schools being “orphans”(???) There has been reports of bones being broken at these FRIENDLY tournaments. If I earned a dollar every time someone from NIST injured someone from my school, I’d be a millionaire. People get physically hurt so often by NIST students. Unless they change and can prove us otherwise, my school knows NIST as violent, heartless and aggressive. I used to be with someone from NIST and their anger issues would sky rocket at the smallest stuff. They would say really hurtful things. That’s not how what you say to someone you love, regardless of how angry you were in the heat of the moment. If your school could not care less about kindness and compassion and has education that is equivalent to NOTHING compared to other schools, maybe don’t go running your mouth about older, less animalistic schools. It’s not like you’re any better. 💙

The best international school in Bangkok. Very strong academic curriculum, extremely tight community, wonderful teachers and staff, and great facilities. This is our second year here, and our kid happily goes to school every day.

Since I’ve sold my business in Thailand, NIST is the reason why I stay in Bangkok with my kids. I am an academic and Ph.D. and appreciate the values and quality of education here. One of the top schools worldwide for me. P.S. I have been part of the NIST community as a parent for 15+ years now.

NIST is a fabulous school with a great and extremely diverse student body . Being a city centre school the campus is smaller but this makes the school special with a great community. School is very close to BTS/ MRT and the Klong Boat can also be used as an alternative mode of transportation. Our children started their school career in EY1 and Y1 and our eldest is now in her final year and we could not have picked a better school. The support during HS years is amazing and doors are always open for our the students. I feel like my children are truly very well supported and educated in a fantastic environment. There is a good parent community with many activities being offered and many options for parents to get involved. Overall NIST is a truly international school with a great vibe!

I attended NIST from EY2 through Year 9, and I had a positive academic experience there. However, the school underwent substantial social changes, particularly after post-COVID-19. These social shifts heavily impacted my life, and I ultimately decided to leave NIST mid-year 9. I have since joined another full International Baccalaureate (IB) school, and I'm thrilled with my new social and academic environment. However, even after a year, I continue to experience bullying via social media from current NIST students.
